Option 1 – Bus Service called Rinas Express:
To travel from and to Tirana International Airport “Mother Teresa” there is available a shuttle bus service. The bus service is called Rinas Express, and operates every day between 7:00 till 19:00. Everyday bus departs every other hour, both from the airport and from the city centre. It may costs 250 – 300 Lek (approx. 2-3 euro) for a ride, which takes around 25 to 30 minutes. You can buy the ticket in the bus (once it’s ready to depart; just take a sit and wait if you arrive earlier).
Finding the bus can be a bit trickier. At the airport, you simply walk straight on (don’t turn right towards the taxis when you leave the terminal building). In town, head to Skanderbeg Square, more specifically the National Museum. Rinas Express departs slightly off the square at the beginning of Rruga e Durrësit.
Option 2- Get a Taxi
Best taxi companies offer good trips, pre-ordered one way for 1500 leke, approx. 12 euro.
