The Albanian Sports Science Association in collaboration with the Faculty of Education Sciences in University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani” held an International Conference on Sports Science and Education. The conference was moderated by the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Dr. Edmond Bicoku. The focus of this conference was the presentation of scientific papers by local and foreign professors, identify problems in the field of sports, promoting individual and joint studies and research and proposing the best alternatives to be implemented. Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, Mr. Kostandin Shkurti was present at the conference where he said, among other things, that physical education and sports are a priority of the Albanian Government and they are working hard to create sports infrastructure. He also praised the valuable work done by the Albanian Sports Science Association and the University of Elbasan “Aleksandër Xhuvani”.
